Eric Clapton donated 100 of his guitars for a benefit auction that raised over five million dollars for the Crossroads Centre for substance-dependency treatment in Antigua. His 1974 Martin 000-28 fetched $178,000, while the legendary 1956 Fender Stratocaster Clapton dubbed "Brownie" set a new record for guitar sales when the gavel fell at $497,500.

Dolly Parton, Conway Twitty, and Johnny Bond are the newest inductees into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
